Privacy Policy
Effective [[EFFECTIVE DATE]]
This policy explains what [[LEGAL ENTITY NAME]] (“we”) collects when you play Legend Forge, why, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to run the game.
What we collect
- Account & session data. A guest session identifier so your roster persists. If you upgrade to an account, the email address you provide. We do not require your real name.
- Gameplay data. The heroes you forge, run outcomes, scores, and leaderboard standing — generated as you play.
- Technical data. Standard request logs (IP, timestamp, user agent) and error/anomaly logs used to keep the service secure and working.
What we do NOT collect
We do not collect payment information (none is taken in this version), precise location, contacts, or sensitive personal data. We do not sell your data.
How we use it
To run the game loop (forge, play, score), display the rolling leaderboard, persist your roster, prevent cheating/abuse, and diagnose problems. Server time and stored game state are authoritative — your device never holds the data that determines outcomes.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in (as a guest or an account). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Retention & deletion
We keep gameplay data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at [[privacy@your-domain]]; we will remove your heroes, runs, and scores (leaderboard entries tied to deleted accounts are removed or anonymized).
Children
Legend Forge is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data. See our Terms for the age requirement.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date.
